Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing entry requests relating to investor counterparties in funds managed by EFA (requiring the utmost attention), and any associated distribution network, analysis and acceptance of the customer file, account opening and verification, together with monitoring of processes linked to market initiatives concerning fiscal transparency such as FATCA, CRS, etc;

Brief:

To join an expanding business line within EFA specialising in Private Equity & Real Estate. To participate and engage in the expansion of this area of activity.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Management of the accounting and financial aspects of Private Equity or Real Estate funds with complex investment structures via Special Purpose Vehicles,
- Participation in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports in Lux GAAP and IFRS formats for the following legal entities: Funds / SICAR / Man Cos / SPV,
- Collaboration with external auditors,

- Participation in technical support in the creation and launch of funds / investment companies,
- Development and implementation of new operational procedures,

Your profile:
- Holder of a bachelor's degree in Accounting,
- At least 3 – 5 years' experience in a PE/RE accounting role,
- Good command of English essential, knowledge of French and German an advantage,
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment (law on commercial companies, UCITS, SICAR, SIF, etc.),
- Good accounting and financial logic,
- Sense of responsibility, organised, thorough and hard-working,
- Good knowledge of common office automation tools such as Word and Excel.

Tasks and responsibilities:
Within the framework of our Risk and Performance Analysis Services offered to our clients, you will be asked to do the following tasks:
- Establish and maintain a robust risk management framework which complies with regulatory (UCITS/AIF) risk requirements
- Manage various advanced risk measures including but not limited to market risk, counterparty risk, liquidity risk, stress testing and back-testing
- Investigation and resolution of data/analytics issues in calculation processes
- Ensure production of added value reports: risk, performance measurement, attribution and contribution reports
- Manage the relationships with clients in order to ensure client satisfaction
- Participate actively in the implementation, set-up and review of services
Profile of the suitable candidate:
- Master 2 degree in economics or finance (or equivalent) with a first experience in a similar position
- Good understanding of European regulatory frameworks in risk management, in particular in Luxembourg
- Good understanding of a wide variety of financial instruments and related risk factors in the context of portfolio and risk management
- Experience of VaR models and familiar with standard risk applications
- Experience in risk contribution and performance measurement
- Problem solving skills and ability to explain complicated concepts clearly
- Good practical knowledge of Excel, Access, Bloomberg, Reuters
- In addition to French and English, a good knowledge of German would be an advantage
